A Little Bit About Us

Amadan Technologies is a privately owned Australian company. We're a small company located in Sydney, where the sun always shines and everything seems possible.

We've been building custom software for our business customers since 2006. Many of our customers come back to us for new projects, or to add new features to current projects. This way we develop a deeper and broader relationship with our customer, and we find that as we learn more about their business we can provide more rounded and complementary software systems to support them. We like getting to know our customers better, and of course we love meeting new customers too.

Our Fixed-Price Guarantee

We prefer to price our projects on a fixed-price basis. This way, once we've set up the commercial basis of the project, we can turn our attention wholly to its implementation. We can accommodate reasonable changes to your business requirements as the project progresses, without having to watch the clock all the time. This approach depends crucially upon a trusting relationship between the two of us: we trust you not blow the budget on us, and you trust us to build a system that is truly useful to you. We like doing business that way.

In any project there's a risk that something will turn out to be more difficult than anticipated, and that means more expensive. If our quoted price were based on a daily rate then you'd end up paying more than you expected. (And worse, we'd end up arguing about it.) In our fixed-price model we carry that risk on your behalf, and we cover the extra cost. We can do this because we have a secret weapon.

Normally it's very time-consuming to build a robust software system because there are all kinds of technical issues to be resolved, such as databases and servers and networks and so on. To our business customers this is all just so much jibber-jabber, but it really is necessary if the software is to work reliably. When we started in business we built a magic software platform that handles all of this stuff automatically. This mitigates the risk by reducing the amount of error-prone work we have to do on the database and server. And simultaneously it frees us up to focus on the part of the system that matters most to you - the bit that runs on your desktop or laptop computer.

Our Customers

We see every customer as a small business. It's true that many of our customers are large corporates, but even then we still usually deal with one or two people in a particular team or department, and that team or department operates within the organisation very much the same way as a small business operates. They have similar frustrations, constraints and aspirations; similar budget concerns; similar relationships with their own customers; and similar problems.
